BeWell is an extension of WVU's main counseling center, The Carruth Center for Counseling
and Psychological Services (CCCPS). Similar to CCCPS, BeWell offers compassionate,
confidential behavioral wellness services to undergraduate, graduate and professional
students.
BeWell’s role is to provide mental health services to students in Health Sciences
majors.
Students eligible to receive services from BeWell are enrolled in the following departments:
- School of Medicine
- School of Nursing
- School of Pharmacy
- School of Dentistry
- School of Public Health

request an appointment online for BeWell Services.
HSC students can also seek mental health services through the
WVU Carruth Center for Counseling and Psychological Services if they
choose not to use BeWell resources. To schedule an appointment with the Carruth
Center, call (304) 293-4431 or use their
online scheduling.
