The Carruth Center is open and we are seeing students in person and via telehealth. Students who access in-person care should expect questions related to COVID-19 and will be required to wear a mask. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or have recently been exposed to someone who tested positive, please call (304) 293-4431 before coming to the building. For information about services for students who are outside of WV or utilizing WVUonline, please see our COVID-19 updates page.

Culture of Caring

We strive to create a safe, diverse and inclusive environment, as well as a confidential space where students may seek support and process their reactions. Please note that your reactions are valid, and they matter to us. If you would like to connect with a counselor, we are here for you!

Let's Chat

Let's Chat provides easy access to informal, drop-in consultation (virtual and in-person spaces) with counselors from Carruth. Meetings are free, one-time, and no longer than 20 minutes. No appointment necessary: students are seen on a first-come, first service-basis.
