Bio
I grew up in rural Virginia before attending the University of Virginia for my undergraduate
degree. After graduating I had a variety of jobs that included working at a moving
company (I got to move John Grisham once!), working in community mental health,
working as an options trader on Wall Street, and working at an in-patient mental
health facility. Eventually I returned to school for my master's degree here at
WVU at age 32. I have been either a trainee or staff counselor at the Carruth Center
since the fall of 2018, and look forward to continuing to make a difference in
our students' lives.
Hobbies
Reading, hiking, basketball, soccer, chasing around my two kids, and spending time
with my wife.
