The Tobacco eCHECKUP TO GO is designed to motivate individuals to reduce their tobacco
consumption by applying personalized information about their own use and risk factors.
It addresses all forms of nicotine (e.g. cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, hookah, e-cigarettes).
The assessment takes about 20 minutes to complete, is self-guided, and requires no
face-to-face contact time with a counselor or administrator. You will need a computer
with Internet access and a JavaScript enabled internet browser.
Accessing Tobacco eCHECKUP TO GO
- Go to Tobacco eCHECKUP to GO.
- Select "I HAVE NOT completed the eCHECKUP TO GO previously."
- Save your user identification number (UID).
- The module will prompt you to enter information about yourself and your tobacco habits.
- Tobacco eCHECKUP TO GO calculates several variables and compares your responses to national and local college norms to create personalized feedback for you.
Verification of Tobacco eCHECKUP TO GO
If you have been required to complete this program, please follow the instructions
below:
- You must review each page of the feedback until you reach the last page with resources listed.
- On that page, select the box on the right “Verify completion of your eCHECKUP
TO GO."
- Provide your name, email, and student ID number on the Verification of Completion page.
- Designate your verification form to be sent to Missy Pforr.
- Your responses to the tobacco information and feedback profile are stored separately from your Verification of Completion and will not be sent to the designee.
NOTE: If you log out or close your browser before completing the verification,
your information will not be recorded and you will have to complete the program
again.
