Orientation 

Integrates psychodynamic, interpersonal process, experiential and solution-focused frameworks within a developmental context.

Emphasis 

Individual and group counseling, multicultural issues, LGBTQ identity, acute and chronic mental illness, crisis intervention and risk assessment. Other interests include supervision, training and organizational consulting.

Bio 

I have worked at WVU for much of my career and was raised in Puerto Rico and WV.  I am passionate about social justice, serving students and committed to exploring the intersections between art and psychology.  

Hobbies

I think of myself as "maker" and for me that means creating functional pottery at a local studio. These organic, sometimes irreverent pieces are grounded and framed in the connections and aesthetics in our natural world.
