Focus on developing identity, meaning, and well-being in life. Treatment interests include family of origin problems, adjusting to college life, and developing skills to manage moods and feelings. Research interests include body image, parent-child relationships, and sexual/gender minority identity.
Bio:
Spring completed a BA in women’s studies and creative writing from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and went on to earn a master’s degree in counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She worked as a therapist with homeless and at-risk youth for five years before completing the PhD program in counseling psychology at WVU.
