The Carruth Center is open, but most of our clinicians are working remotely. We are only seeing psychological and psychiatric emergencies in person at this time. For information about counseling options available to students located in West Virginia as well as students currently outside of the state, please see our COVID-19 updates page.

Personal Bio

I grew up in a small town in Maryland prior to attending college in Frostburg, Maryland. While at Frostburg State University (FSU), I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology as well as my Master's of Counseling in Psychology. My time at FSU allowed for growth in areas such as research and clinical skills through my graduate assistantship as well as my internship based in community mental health. Upon graduation, most of my work was centered in community mental health as well as addictions. Currently I am working as a Case Manager/Behavior Therapist at CCPPS.

My favorite hobbies are crafting and entertaining my two cats. I also enjoy reading and baking.
