BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, people of color), athletes, international students, eating/body image concerns, adjustment/transitions, grief, identity development, depression, anxiety, family trauma, and multicultural concerns.

Bio

Lacey is originally from Battle Creek, Michigan. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Western Michigan University. She also completed her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Mental Health in Athletes at The Chicago School in Chicago, IL. During her master’s program, Lacey interned at Wilbur Wright College, working with students and student-athletes in the counseling center.

Lacey joined WVU in the summer of 2024 as a Post-Master's Fellow and is currently the liaison to the Center for Black Culture. She enjoys connecting with students around campus while breaking barriers and stigma regarding mental health with BIPOC students, international students, and student athletes.

Hobbies

Lacey enjoys traveling and exploring new things, trying new foods, listening to audible books and podcasts, playing sports/attending sporting events and buying new sneakers!
