Bio

I was born and raised in the town of Philippi, West Virginia and have a deep love and respect for the history of this place we call home. I am drawn to working with students as college brings a mix of anxieties and dreams and I value the role that higher education plays in personal and community development. I have minors in creative writing, sociology, and LGBTQ+ studies from West Virginia University where I also obtained my Master of Social Work in 2025. I spend my free time with friends and family, taking walks in my neighborhood, enjoying Wild and Wonderful West Virginia, and reading books. I look forward to being part of your journey!
