Bio

I am from the eastern panhandle of West Virginia, near Shepherdstown, WV, and started at West Virginia University as a first gen student in 2016. I studied a combination of English literature, professional writing, communications, and social systems before starting my Master of Social Work in 2021. As an undergraduate student exploring a variety of paths, I felt at-home supporting student success in roles at the campus writing center and MindFit. I enjoy taking a collaborative, creative approach to empower positive change in my work. I love spending time with family and friends, working on a new ceramics project, taking photos, and trying out crafty hobbies.
