Bio
As a West Virginia native— I feel closely connected to my Appalachian roots and deeply inspired to support/empower individuals within rural areas. I am a first-generation college graduate who was born and raised in this beautiful state. I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work with the intention of pursuing a career as a behavioral therapist. Prior to joining the Carruth Center team, I gained professional experience in a variety of mental health settings, providing inpatient psychiatric care, residential treatment, and community-based services. In both my personal and professional life, I would describe myself as an advocate and an ally, first and foremost. I also identify as a dog mom, astrology enthusiast, nature lover, and traveler. Ultimately, I am grateful for opportunities that allow me to connect with and positively impact someone’s personal journey. I believe we can all be lifelong learners, growing from our own lived experiences and contributing to the growth of those around us.
