Therapeutic Orientation
My overall approach is integrated, holistic, and relational. My orientation is psychodynamic, and I include therapeutic techniques from ACT, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based frameworks. My belief that humans have the capacity to change, grow, and heal is inspired by Eastern philosophy and a trauma-informed approach that recognizes the strength and resilience of the human spirit.
Areas of clinical interest:
Anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, identity development, life transitions, relationships, self-concept, and emotional difficulties.
Bio
I am presently completing a predoctoral internship at WVU while working toward my PsyD in Counseling Psychology at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy caring for houseplants, spending time with my husband and pets, and finding moments of calm in everyday routines.
