Bio: I was born and raised in north-central West Virginia. I moved to Huntington in 2003 where I attended Marshall University. I completed my internship at Ohio University Counseling and Psychological Services in 2012, which engendered a strong interest in working with a college population. Thereafter, I returned to the Huntington area, gaining experience in a variety of settings, including community mental health, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and private practice.
I was fortunate to begin work with West Virginia University’s Carruth Center for
Psychological and Psychiatric Services (CCPPS) in 2017. I am excited to return
to a college counseling center to pursue the deeply rewarding work of helping
students and training new counseling and psychological professionals.
When I’m not at the office, I enjoy heading home to Fairmont, WV to spend time
with my wife and daughter. My hobbies and interests include photography, gaming,
technology, and science-fiction.
