Regarding Current Events
We are deeply shocked and saddened by the mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas over the weekend. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and communities who are directly affected by the horrific tragedy. We are also thinking of our Hispanic community at WVU and in Morgantown. We can imagine how this attack can contribute to feeling shocked, confused, and unsafe.
The Carruth Center strives to create a safe environment where diversity and inclusion are recognized and valued, as well as a confidential space where students may seek support and process their reactions.
