Originally from Martinsburg, WV, I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from West Virginia University. I joined the military in 2010 and spent 6 years in the Army Reserves, including one deployment in 2013. I developed a passion for working in higher education while completing my Advanced Practicum at the Carruth Center. I also have experience prior to earning my MSW degree, working as a counselor and a Treatment Supervisor at a residential treatment facility in South Mountain, PA.
Through my experiences, I found that my passion lies in working individually with students in a clinical setting
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and my dog, Roman. My hobbies and interests include working out, cooking, being outdoors, going to the shooting range, or many things involving crafts.
