Originally from Martinsburg, WV, I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from West Virginia University. I developed a passion for working in higher education while completing my Advanced Practicum at the Carruth Center. I joined the military in 2010 and spent 6 years in the Army Reserves, including one deployment in 2013. I also have experience prior to earning my MSW degree, working as a counselor and a Treatment Supervisor at a residential treatment facility in South Mountain, PA.
Through my experiences, I found that my passion lies in working individually with students in a clinical setting, where I was lucky enough to find my ideal position as a Behavioral Health Therapist/Case Manager at CCPPS. In my role, I have the opportunity to provide treatment to students and also utilize knowledge and skills obtained from previous positions.
When I’m not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family. My hobbies and interests include working out, cooking, being outdoors, going to the shooting range, or anything “crafty”.
